1.What is a cartridge and how long will a cartridge last?

A cartridge contains the nicotine dilution. It comes in various strengths: regular, light and zero. The cartridges come in a variety of flavors. Cartridge lifespans vary between brands though ranges are usually equivalent to 10-20 cigarettes.

2.How long will the battery last before needing recharging?

Battery lifespans vary between brands, and are determined by the number of full mouth puffs. These can range from between 150-400 puffs. Each product typically identifies it's capacities in the product description area.

3.Are E-Cigarettes approved as a smoking cessation device?

E-Cigarettes have never been proven to be a smoking cessation device and is not sold or marketed as such. E-Cigarettes are simply an alternative to smoking that offers freedom to smoke anywhere (while respecting others), no first or second hand smoke, are virtually odor free and are much cheaper than the cost of traditional smoking.

4.What is the smoke that is released?

The vapor-like smoke released is simply condensation that evaporates into the air within seconds, not unlike the functioning of a humidifier. E-Cigarettes leave no visual residue in the air, whereas traditional smoking can leave an unsightly, acrid cloud known to irritate eyes and bother people’s senses.

5.Does the condensation of E-Cigarettes smell?

Odor from E-Cigarettes is barely noticeable, as it is water vapor, and dissapates very quickly, unlike traditional cigarettes and cigars that create lingering smells in rooms, cars and clothing.

6.How Do They Taste?

The taste of the E-Cigarettes resembles that of tobacco, but feels much smoother and cleaner.

7.Can I use an E-Cigarette anywhere?

Since E-Cigarettes do not burn or produce any actual burning smoke it is a non-hazardous device and is essentially odorless, leaving it open to use anywhere desired. This is a great alternative solution for those who typically are not able to break away as usual.

Another thing to consider is how often your e-cigarette is "smoked". As with any liquid exposed to air, it will eventually evaporate. Casual smokers (1 pack per day) will see cartridges last on average to how they are currently smoking. However, occasional smokers (.5-1.0 packs per day) may find that by the third or fourth day their cartridges have lost their strength and need to be replaced.

It is important to remember that your e-cigarette is an electronic device, actually more similar to a cell phone than a cigarette. Let your batteries drain so they don't develop a "half life" and they will last longer. By always keeping a spare battery charged, you'll never find yourself tempted to reach for a regular cigarette when your e-cigarette loses it's charge.
